Alissa Steinberg is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with over 15 years of clinical and research experience, specializing in both pediatric and adult nutrition. With a Master of Health Science and candidacy as a Menopause Society Registered Practitioner, she provides evidence-based, compassionate care across a wide range of health concerns including diabetes, weight management, hormone health, digestive issues, and more.

Alissa has worked in leading healthcare institutions such as The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), the Markham Family Health Team, and Unity Health, where she supported programs in weight management, diabetes care, cardiology, intensive care, and pediatric health.

She is highly skilled in Motivational Interviewing, tailoring care plans to meet each client’s individual needs and empowering them to make sustainable health changes. Her approach is innovative, client-centered, and grounded in the latest research.

Alissa is also a published researcher in the areas of energy expenditure and body composition, and contributes to medical education at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine.
